Shop in a Qube (SIAQ) has been developed with the intention of offering space to Individuals for the advertising and/or selling of unique self-created products in an environment where Shoppers would frequent on a regular basis.

SIAQ works by bringing the “Markets” or the "Galleries" to the people in a “Shopping Mall” environment, the only high traffic “interactive” media where shoppers can touch, smell, feel and experience products on display.

Who Would Sell At Shop In A Qube?


SIAQ will appeal to self-representing artists or individuals with unique inventions who are interested in reaching out to the general public to promote themselves or their self-created products.

Location


SIAQ will be located at Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre in Cannington, Western Australia. Westfield Carousel generates an annualised average traffic of 183,206 patrons per week.

Pending the success of SIAQ at Westfield Carousel, SIAQ will be taken to all Westfield Shopping Centres across Australia.

Layout


SIAQ will be set-up in the middle of Westfield Carousel’s busy thoroughfare like a kiosk. The aim is for every available space to be clearly visible during the shopping centre’s opening hours, creating maximum exposure for all products on display.


Each lease-able cubicle shelf space with individual light source will be 40x40x40cm in dimension, at 3 cubicle rows high (a height of 1.4m altogether). The cubicles are adjustable to allow occupiers the option of leasing more space either in width or length or both.

The display units will have a clear glass front and lockable glass doors to the back which will ensure that products on display is kept secured at all times and only brought out upon a Shopper’s enquiry.

What Shop In A Qube Offers...


For a weekly fee starting as low as $50+GST, SIAQ offers you a space to display, promote and sell your unique products; or to advertise yourself and your creative abilities.

Advertising in magazines can cost up to 10 times or more that amount and opportunities for displaying and selling self-created products often lie in self-attendance at Markets/Bazaars or Online-selling via several different web-stores.

Markets/Bazaars however, often operate only once a week and in some instances only once a month; and Online-selling depends solely on visual appeal and on shoppers who are comfortable with online shopping.

SIAQ will give you access to purchase-ready shoppers at a high-traffic Shopping Centre 6 days a week, 52 weeks a year, minus public holidays, without having to even be there!

Plus, occupying a space will also entitle your products to be listed on SIAQ’s Online Store!

Shop In A Qube Online


SIAQ’s Online Super Store creates another avenue for Shoppers to reach you and your products.

You will have worldwide exposure for the same products displayed with SIAQ at Westfield Carousel, making them also available for sale via the internet at the same time.

Looking After You


A Sales Representative of SIAQ will assist with supervising, promoting and selling your products on your behalf for a flat commission of 10%.

Should there be anticipation for your products to sell out quickly, the Sales Representative will alert you by phone, sms or email.

Making It Easy


You will be given an online account to: -
- track sales activities and stock levels
- view invoices for lease expenses incurred with SIAQ
- view list of products sold, commission retained and monies due


This information will be updated weekly and will give you the ability to decide when to change or update your displayed products, to maintain or modify your chosen space and to learn of how well your products are selling.

You Don't Have To Be There!


Simply select your desired space and set it up your way and SIAQ will take care of the rest.

Interstate Individuals and Non-Metro Perth Individuals are welcome to participate; SIAQ can set up the space for you on your behalf at no additional cost.

Just make up a mock display and take a picture of it or trust our Sales Representative to set it up for you attractively; it is SIAQ's business after all, to sell and promote your products for you.

Your Responsibilities


Have a registered business, an ABN. [Necessary for tax purposes]

Guarantee that all products are of a sound and in-tact nature, and will resist reasonable wear for the duration of the lease with SIAQ. Any faulty products returned to SIAQ (with proof of receipt and are not subject to misuse) will be sent back for replacement and/or repair immediately

Tag, price and provide photos of products. And, create an itemised spreadsheet with a brief description of each product. [Photos and description will be used on SIAQ Online].

Bear all cost associated with shipping of products to and from SIAQ.

Update product stock regularly as well as the design of the occupied space to maintain an attractive display.

Space Leasing Includes


Security for displayed stock with lockable shelving.

Insurance for loss (Fire) or theft (Burglary)

Regular advertising.

Provision of barcode system for products already tagged.

Provision of SIAQ receipts, bags and tissue wrapping material.

Promoting, handling and supervising of products displayed.

Maintenance of shelf space, keeping it clean and tidy.

Limited storage space for packaging and/or up to 50% extra stock.

Hints For Displaying


Provide a profile of yourself (if you want one), or whatever you would like to have in your shelf space about you and your work, people love a story, and a good story can sell your products well.

Make available to Shoppers, your business/contact cards and/or whatever you would like included with your products sold to assist in further promotion.

Less is more sometimes; choose your very best products for display.

Consider and organize the necessary props required to display your products attractively.

Decorate the walls of your shelf space to personalize it and reflect your unique self-created products.

Accounting Issues


An invoice will be issued and sent on the 30th of every month via email or by post. Payment must be made within 7 days of issued invoice.

Non-payment will entitle SIAQ the right to retain and sell existing products displayed to recover costs.

Monies due after commission is retained for products sold by SIAQ via the store or online store, will be bank deposited or mailed as a cheque, on the 15th of every month.
